Firestone Complete Auto Care

I got to the shop 20 minutes earlier than my appointment time. There was no one in line but I was ignored for another 5 minutes. Then after waiting 2 hours (walk-ins were taken before me) they finally took my car in and after 5 minutes, told me they couldn't help me. Lack of customer service, lost of a paying customer.

We were in a bit of a bind (from Jersey and 5 hours away from home). Our engine overheated and they were able to get our car done the same day. Amazing service and we really appreciated them!!

I was embarrassingly unprepared for the inspection appointment I made, and they were kind, helpful, and understanding throughout. Other customers were rude while I was there, and they got the same respect and service I got. No complaints.

The associates were very helpful and flexible regarding scheduling as I had an appointment at 3pm and was not going to make it in time so I called the store and they said I would be totally fine being a little late. Everyone at the desk was super nice and helpful and they got me checked in and my car started right away. I was getting tires I already had put on my vehicle and it only took about an hour. I drove my car 45 minutes today and it drives smoother than it has in a while thanks to correct tire balancing done by the technicians in the store. I went back to pick my car up and they knew exactly who I was and grabbed my key, got me checked out and sent me on my way. Everything was done in a timely manner and customers appreciate that hence my score.

Really upset with this location. I travel a lot and like that they are in different locations i frequent. But about a month ago i had them swap off my snow tires for summer tires. At first it seemed okay but a week later i had a 4 hour trip down the turnpike & the steering wheel vibrated so hard i could visible see the wheel shaking & my arm was sore. I guess they didnt properly balance them. Also, my heat shield was laying on the exhaust, i used two retainer clips to hold it back up but im not sure how they missed it to mention it. Then i stopped in to get recommended maintaince that is suggested on my account (and i was also going to bring up the balance issue) but they don't have a transmission guy and couldnt do a fluid exhange. I think im going to try other shops when in the altoona area.
